Question 1: What is a Sustainable Volunteer?

Collects donated items from stores and distributes to people they know in need and is sustained too.

Question 2: What is a Volunteer Starter Pack?

This is mandatory. All volunteers are required to have a hi-vis vest, unique volunteer access code for their mobile phone, and access to the online training and booking portal.

Question 3: What type of donations can a volunteer collect?

Non perishable items, ready to eat food, snacks, vegetables, fruits, toiletries and new clothing.

Question 4: Do you need a vehicle?

No, as long as you can carry 2 bags of items approximately 10KGS. However, superstores require a large vehicle or van.

Question 5: When does a volunteer go live?

It can take up to 1 month to go live. On average it is 21 days based on a volunteer completing the full online onboarding of 3 steps. This includes setting up your Profile ID, reading your online training and submitting your confirmation form. This will automatically release your Certificate of Completion. Stores matching for a schedule/ alerts will commence followed by the delivery/ pick up of the hi-vis vest. NO COMPLETION CERTIFICATE NO START

Question 6: Why there are no refunds for the volunteer starter packs?

Looprun is part of a social enterprise where profits are reinvested back into supporting the community to help feed people in need. As a response division there is only a one off cost and no monthly subscription whatsoever. Therefore payment for the starter pack gives access to Looprun supportive services ongoing. Volunteering is completely flexible and can be started anytime, paused and restored at any time. Especially during an emergency being a volunteer with Looprun In Store it means you are able to access resources as a priority to sustain yourself and continue to impact others.

Everyone who volunteers with Looprun would require to order a Starter pack to get started and collect donated items compliantly. All volunteers have a profile ID access code on their mobile so stores can verify you.

If you want to collect perishable items a food hygiene certificate is required. We have a read only version until provided,

ACCESS TO THE COMMUNITY PORTAL

Our online community portal enables all volunteers to receive updates, notifications, e-gift vouchers and e-learning.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TO GO LIVE

When every volunteer completes the onboarding process a certificate of completion is issued and this generates the Hi-vis vest within 10 days. If you join a group/ location all parties need to complete onboarding to go LIVE.
